Meet our Doctors
Gloria Ivey-Crowe, M.D.
Dr. Gloria Ivey-Crowe
received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the American University
in Washington, D.C. in 1979. She went on to Howard University where
she received a B.S. and her certification as a Physician Assistant.
She received her medical degree from Georgetown University in 1994.
She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
at Georgetown, where she served as the Administrative Chief Resident.
In addition to general obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Ivey-Crowe's interests
and specialties include high-risk obstetrics and telemedicine.
Dr. Ivey-Crowe is married and has three children. She enjoys needlecraft and bowling.
Candace Thurston, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Candace
Thurston is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with the American
Board of Obstetrician and Gynecologists. She received her medical
degree from Yale University School of Medicine in 1979. She completed
her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at George Washington
University, and has been practicing in northern Virginia for over 15
years.
Dr. Thurston's hobbies iclude knitting and jazz music.
