About our Practice

At Women Physicians, our philosophy is that you as our patient come first! Open communication with all members of our medical team is strongly encouraged. We believe that our job is to educate and inform you so that you can make the best decisions about your medical care.  Some special areas of interest to the practice are high-risk obstetrics, infertility, contraception, estrogen replacement therapy, and menopause issues. 

For our obstetrical patients, we encourage pre-conceptual counseling and early prenatal care. Education, information, and counseling may help avert problems. In order to provide a positive experience for each person, no labor or delivery is considered routine. If desired and medical condition permits, natural childbirth is encouraged. We take pride in our low cesarean section rate, and encourage vaginal births after a previous c-section.

We share responsibility with our gynecological patient for her continued good health. Periodic check-ups are very important, facilitating early diagnosis of any problems and allowing treatment to be initiated promptly. Contraception, breast exams, and menopause are only a few of the key issues that we advise on. Additionally, we are trained in the state of the art procedures such as Laparoscopic Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy, and laser surgery.
